I was previously the Owner-Operator of a 6000+ sq. ft. Doggy Daycare & Boarding facility in Longview, WA with over 200 tail-waggin’ clients where Whistle was the 1st Licensed Doggy Daycare & Boarding Facility in Longview, WA and the only facility to receive an Endorsement by Cowlitz County Animal Control for humane practices and high quality of care. Whistle was a dream come true that became our family’s focus over Covid because if there’s anything that we took away from the pandemic, it’s this: life is too short to do anything other than what would make you truly happy and for us, that’s creating and fostering connections through our love of dogs.
We then provided Whistle Doggy Daycare & Boarding services out of our family home full-time where we hosted 6 -10 goofy and friendly dogs daily. Whistle is happy to accommodate varying schedules and needs as often as pawsible. We are excited to get to know you and your fuzzy family members while supporting you on your journey of pet parenthood! We have a fully fenced half acre backyard that’s now Whistle’s Private Dog Park where we practice safety, manners, and of course- having a lots of fun! We personally have three dog friendly pups that love having company over and get along well with everyone- both two and four legged friends!
As of March of 2025 we are excited to announce that we have re-opened Whistle in a commercial setting where pups can enjoy over 1,200 sf. of climate controlled and weather-irrelevant indoor fun- complete with rubber flooring, an assortment of toys, size appropriate kennels, lots of natural light from our large wall of windows, and an indoor pup potty or we can offer leashed walks over to a nice grassy patch outside if that’s more your pup’s style. We do still spend lots of time playing outside at Whistle’s Private Dog Park and may be out-of-building in the event that the weather is nice and clients have requested that their dog play outside for either the full-day or part of the day. We are open by confirmed reservation only.
I’m a lifelong dog lover and petting enthusiast. I’m a proud full-time Mom to two amazing kids, 3 goofy dogs, 4 crazy cats, and a couple of opinionated rescue horses. I love being a Small Business Owner who’s looking to help strengthen the bond between Northwest dogs and the people who love them! I’m an active walker, hiker, biker, jogger, and comfy couch snuggler. I’ve been playing with, training, and caring for dogs of all ages, abilities, temperaments, needs, and sizes for over 20 years. In addition to offering an individualized high-standard of care- I’m comfortable offering medication administration, bathing, nail trims, and basic obedience training. I’m here to support you through the journey of pet parenthood. It’s always a good time to begin raising some amazing canine citizens!
We will walk, jog, bike, hike, work on recall and basic obedience, snuggle, roll around, play fetch, and have a blast at our Private Dog Park or Indoor Play-Space. Whatever your dog needs to be their happiest and most fulfilled self is what we’re prepared to offer! We offer spacious and personalized kennels with special items from home for naps/rest times between play sessions, during feedings, and at night-time to ensure safety and quality sleep for both our family, as well as for your fuzzy family member.
